Can I just connect a USB drive to the switch dock in order to install the XCI? Seems that the file is too big for my fat32 formatted SD card.

DBI has a backend server for Windows. Use that.

Why r people putting 4GB+ XCI/NSP's on a fat32 formatted device?

I highly recommend the NX-USB Loader app. It works perfectly with Awoo Installer, and comes with all of the drivers you need.
Run NX-USB Loader on your PC. Open Awoo from your homebrew folder. Go to USB install. Choose the XCI/NSP files you want to install. Choose the destination. Done.

be surprised how many people don't follow proper guides and use AIO packs then are stumped by something that seem so simple to others.

Nah DBI is best with its MTP responder no backend needed

Meh. Works for me. I find something that works, and I rock with it until it doesn't.

I didn't do what he mentioned. He just didn't read my post. It isn't possible to put a file larger than 4gb on a fat32.

I think DBI supports USB installation. Atleast Tinfoil does.

You may as well use NSP if you want to save some space.

by USB install there is no 4gb limit and no need to copy the file to the sdcard first

Tinfoil was showing my USB as blank when I went to USB section.

You can't just plug in a USB drive to the dock?

Yes you're correct, however you can split xci and nsp files into chunks and install any size game you want. There's a few apps that can split xci files such as Switch Army Knife.
